"We took our dog "Lady" to Pyke Boarding Kennels for the first time at Easter (09), and we couldn't have been happier. Angela was welcoming, kind and understanding, she knew I was uneasy about leaving Lady, (she's a half blind, deaf OAP now!). She was kind enough to send us messages and even a photo of Lady whilst we were away so that I knew she had settled in well (that's a service I have never received from any kennel I have previously used). Lady has developed a liking for "Marrowbones" since her stay with Angela, as they provide them for the dogs on a weekly basis. Its reassuring to know when you are away, your dog is in a clean and well look after kennels. I have since recommend Pyke Kennels to my friends as they will feel at ease leaving their pets in such caring hands."

"At last I have found a brilliant place to leave my dog Daisy when I'm away. I have tried a number of kennels and been disappointed with them all. Daisy is very attached to me as we spend all day together, but she has been more than happy to stay with Angela for a day then over night then for 10 days. I could always tell that she wasn't happy at the other kennels when I picked her up, she would be anxious and in need of a good walk! But here she gets the exercise she needs and the attention. The big plus for me was being able to text Angela while away to see how Daisy was. It really put my mind at rest and i could enjoy my holiday fully.When I picked her up after 10 days there she was a happy dog and not at all anxious. I would highly recommend Pyke boarding kennels to everyone.

I have recently boarded my two dogs and parrot at Pyke Boarding Kennels and Cattery, and we have been very pleased with the care and service provided. Pyke provided a very clean and safe environment for my pets, and gave us the reassurance that everything was going to be OK while we were on holiday. Angela didn't mind us contacting her and asking how things were going, and this gave us peace of mind, and helped us relax. On our return, all pets were safe, clean and happy.
