Denbank Boarding Cattery

Ringstead, Northamptonshire
At Denbank we aim to provide the very best of care for your cat offering individual attention to all our residents whether in prime health, disabled, diabetic, elderly or in the kitten stage of life.

Our Cattery offers a secure, warm, comfortable and meticulously clean environment for your pet's stay, whilst making sure that their dietary and medical needs are properly managed

Established since 1989 we endeavour to build a trusting relationship with owners and their cats so that when you leave your pets with us, you can go away with total peace of mind knowing your cats are in caring, safe and knowledgeable hands.

The Proprietor Vanessa Parker is Feline Advisory Bureau trained and holds an HNC at Distinction level in Animal Welfare & Management.

We provide spacious insulated chalets with infra red heating, giving all round warmth, some of our more senior residents are also provided with their own heated pads. Each chalet has its own outside run with seating areas, scratch post and toys where the residents can view the neighbours and the surrounding gardens.

We have chalets suitable for one or two cats and larger chalets to accommodate 3 or four, we also have an extra large chalet which can accommodate up to six cats. Cats from the same household only may share and there is a generous space between each chalet and run so that there can be no direct contact which could facilitate the spread of any possible infection.

Inside the chalet the cats are provided with seating and bedding areas, with warm bedding provided but owners are welcome to bring their cat's beds from home and any favourite toys or items. Contact with familiar objects helps the cats to settle into their surroundings

FEEDING:
Individual likes and dislikes can be catered for. Only the best food is provided and prepared in hygienic conditions. Special diets can be catered for, normally at no extra cost and we are experienced in dealing with diabetic and geriatric cats. Prescription diets must be provided by the owner.

HEALTH:
All cats must be immunised against Feline Infectious Enteritis and Upper Respiratory Infections (Cat Flu). Owners must produce an up to date vaccination certificate upon arrival and please ensure that all anti parasitic treatments are current. No cats suffering from, or suspected to be suffering from any infection will be accepted into the cattery. In the unlikely event that your cat should become unwell during its stay with us, veterinary attendance is assured and any treatment prescribed by a surgeon can be administered.

CAT CARRIERS:
Owners are strongly advised to bring their cats to the cattery in a suitable, secure cat carrier.

BOOKINGS:
Definite bookings should be made as early as possible giving firm dates and times. Initial bookings will require a detailed history of your cat along with contact and address details.
