I hired Mitchell Tree Surgery to clear our back garden of two huge trees and plenty of overgrown bushes. Considering all the felled wood and bushes had to be taken through the house as there is no access to the back the job was done to the highest standard and everything left as it was found. I was very impressed by Gus the tree surgeon who was helpful, polite and professional and the firm offers tremendous value for money.

His first task was to remove a large tree and its stump in the ground. Special skills and machinery were needed for that. He did it without any problem or fuss.
Whether it is a tree that needs pruning or a cutting back of the leylandii hedge or anything else that needs doing, he always looks at the task from a professional angle. He will do exactly what you want, or, sometimes suggest, in a courteous way, what would look better and what is better for the tree. Gus knows his stuff and clearly cares about his subject matter - including not disturbing the birds unnecessarily !
He always clears up and takes away after he has finished, so once the job is done, it really has all been done.
As important as anything else is his honesty and reliability. I have recommended him to my friends and I am not surprised that he gets much repeat business. He deserves to.
