Testimonials

97 year old resident wrote in the local news paper.
I am 97 years old and have recently moved to Kendal to be closer to my family. My daughter contacted the local Abbeyfield Society Supported Sheltered housing on Castle Road in Kendal. I now have a cosy room furnished with my own personal belongings and enjoy wonderful home-cooked meals, 24 hour support if needed, security and company. I have my own front door key and I am still able to enjoy my freedom. The staff at Abbeyfield are wonderful and fun, and this move has been a positive one for me. So may I say thank you to you all for making me feel so welcome here in this lovely town of Kendal.
