Testimonials

Wonderful, without question the best meal in Lancaster
I have been to this restaurant many many times and have yet to be disappointed. I am now pleased after unsuccessfully trying to find it on trip advisor for some time that it has been added and I can give it the raving review it so deserves. Everything is fresh made by the very talented chef and only the best
The place has a really good atmosphere... Norah Jones playing in the background, all very relaxed and chilled out."

Dragging yourself out on a cold, dark, rainy Tuesday night can sometimes be a real effort.
It was for me, as I walked to this little restaurant in the heart of Lancaster city centre, throwing away my wrecked umbrella en route.
But it was worth it.
The place has a really good atmosphere... Norah Jones playing in the background, all very relaxed and chilled out.
...decently cooked food , nice crockery, good ambience and definitely a place I would return to.

I have been impressed when dining at Bistro 26 by the skill of the owner/chef, Mark, his commitment to using quality local produce and the friendly, informal atmosphere of the restaurant. I would highly recommend the restaurant to Lancaster diners."

Dear Mark
I would like to express my own thanks and also those of my guest for your significant part in the pleasure of the celebration of my 60th Birthday last weekend. It was very helpful to be guided carefully through the earlier stages of the preparations for the dinner, and the whole evening passed smoothly and enjoyably.
I hope it will not be too long before I have the opportunity of eating with you again and shall be very happy to continue recommending your restaurant."
