Head further south on the coast path, you can see the Blow Hole when the tide is high and there is a lot of surf.

The Headland is renowned for it's flowers and wildlife, you may even see seals, one of the coves is named Seal Cove.

The Bar is open all day and is open throughout the year.

We serve hot drinks throughout the day from teas, coffees and hot chocolate to liquor coffee of your choice.

Lunches are served from 11.00am - 2.30pm and evening meals from 6.00pm - 9pm ish.

There is a large menu to choose form including homemade vegetarian dishes, homemade pies, lasagnes and curries as well as char grilled steaks.

We also have a children's selection.

Many of the desserts are homemade too.

There is a warming fire roaring all winter in the cosy bar and lots of al fresco dining during the summer months.

There is a large car park.

The large beer garden overlooks the beach and the heated sun deck has glass screens and jumberellas.

We have a separate bar showing Sky Sports including ESPN and Sky 3D, with 8 Plasma Screens.

Each bar has a pool table, there is also a choice of other activities such as table football, gaming machine, quiz machine, giant jenga and giant connect 4.

What a great place to eat. Lovely food and stunning views.

Had a cracking meal at the Bowgie yesterday, the food was served to perfection and served with a smile. Helpful and friendly staff, amazing views made for a very enjoyable experience. Thank-you very much

Excellent fish at this restaurant and the other meals were fab too, the treacle tart and clotted cream were out of this world, excellent service , the staff were sooooo friendly, Thank you very much xxx

In our opinion the best location to soak up one of the best views in Cornwall, each area of the pub has its own atmosphere, its clean and well maintained, has a great selection of beers and wines and the food has always been the best around.I have lived in Cornwall all my life and would not hesitate to recommend The Bowgie to anybody, keep up the good work !!!!!

The Bowgie is a real find!! We were lucky enough to stumble across this pub while on holidays from Australia! The view is just divine and after I managed to tear my boyfriend away from taking photo's, we were treated to an awesome meal that was both well priced and delicious!!

The beer and wine list was top quality and I was worried we would never leave!! Awesome location for a wedding or function!! (hint hint Dave!)
After lunch, we went for a walk around the headland which was just incredible!
Overall, I say it's a must do! The staff were great, the food was delicious and of course then there's the VIEW!!
Just go, you will love it!

Great location, great views, and great food with Cornish cider on tap and much much more. We checked out the daily specials and found curries that would shame many an Indian restaurant they were so good, a scrumptious fish pie and geat hot but not too hot chile with jacket potatoes or rice. Excellent. And views in the foreground of the longboarders on Crantock beach and of Trevose Lighthouse in the background. Brilliant!
