Emma has the misfortune of treating my various ailments on what feels like a monthly basis; whether it be for damaged ligaments in my ankle, tendinitis in my knee or rehabilitation following a broken metatarsal!Nevertheless, on each occasion, Emma diagnoses my injury with precision, guiding me along the way with invaluable knowledge as to how I am progressing. Her knowledge is unrivalled and her commitment to ensure that I understand what is happening is not only reassuring but also the sign of a true professional who cares for and understands the needs of her patients. In addition to the clinical treatment, Emma is also happy to provide advice as to what I can do at home to aid recovery and speed up rehabilitation. Following an awkward fall whilst playing netball, I twisted my foot and damaged the ligaments in my ankle. The injury was significant: I was unable to move my ankle and suffered with painful cramps in the sole of my foot. Emma, however, set to work and following a course of treatment, I regained full mobility! Whilst treating my ankle, Emma also diagnosed fallen arches. I had always suffered with painful knees and with Emma's assistance the two problems were linked. Finally, I am getting the treatment I need to resolve this long standing problem. No matter what the injury, I trust Emma's judgement implicitly and would recommend her to anyone!
