Play for young children is important. It involves learning through their senses and can be encouraged and enhanced where adults and peers play too. Play is fundamental in helping children learn about themselves, relate to others and the world around them, and for young children this can be in many different environments including home, nursery and eventually school.
Our aim here at First Steps is to provide a warm, caring and stimulating environment for children to develop their skills and enjoy all the pleasures that childhood brings and parents can feel confident in the knowledge that their children are somewhere secure, safe and happy.
