Bilston Nursery School Children's Centre is a fully integrated school and children's centre providing education, childcare and family support services for families with children under five in the Bilston area.

The Nursery School developed into a Children's Centre in 2006 and is able to provide a wide range of services to support children and families.

Services include: information about accessing work and training, health advice, support groups, one-to-one support, stay and play groups, local authority nursery school, crèche sessions and full daycare.

A team of professionals are available to offer support to parents and families including family support workers, health visitors and midwives who are based at the school.

Regular clinics are available for parents to access information and advice from health visitors and other health professionals.

Full daycare provision and crèche provides high quality childcare in purpose built facilities for children aged 0-5.

These very popular services are staffed by highly qualified staff who provide excellent early learning opportunities for children in a friendly, child centred environment.

Full daycare is available 50 weeks a year from 8am till 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.

The Nursery School received an 'outstanding' judgement from Ofsted in 2010.

The School offers an excellent standard of early education, care and support for children aged 3-4.

The school provides a rich learning environment which boosts an impressive outdoor area which includes an adventure playground and forest school wildlife area.

The school offers highly trained and qualified staff who provide excellently for children's individual needs.

Wrap around provides childcare either side of the free nursery sessions 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to including before and after school sessions.

Places are available from 8am till 5.30pm during term time.

In 2010 Ofsted said 'The school makes outstanding provision for the children in its care and they make excellent progress in all areas of their development'.

In judging the school as 'outstanding' Ofsted said,

Map & Directions

By car follow the signs from Wolverhampton to Bilston.
The school is situated on the right hand side at the top of Wolverhampton St, a few yards from the island.
Parking is not available on site but a Council free car park is available by turning left at the island.

From the Metro, Bilston Crescent stop, head south-west on the Crescent.
Turn left at Broad St and then right at Shale St.
Turn left into Wolverhampton St.
