Ashkirk, Scottish Borders
The 11th hole early morning
The 11th hole early morning
With an idyllic situation in the heart of the Scottish Borders the Woll Golf course offers a testing and very enjoyable days golf.

Set in the grounds of the private New Woll Estate, the par 70 parkland course follows the gentle contours of the Ale valley and is surrounded by mature trees.

The Woll burn comes into play on a number of holes in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Due to the gentle nature of the valley it is one of the flattest courses in the Borders and therefore one of the most popular for golfers of all abilities.

Surrounded by natural stone dykes, beech hedges and woodland the setting has been described as 'a hidden gem' and 'a course every golfer must play'

Situated just off the A7 between Selkirk and Hawick, the course is very accessible and Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle are all just over an hour away by car.

The Clubhouse offers some of the best facilities in the Borders including an award winning Restaurant and Bar offering everything from Bacon Rolls and Coffee through to Lunches and Dinners and some great golfers packages.

All Visitors and groups are welcome 7 days a week, including corporate groups.

Day packages are available including Golf and fishing, Golf and Clay pigeon shooting and of course all your catering needs.

The course benefits from being playable all year round.

It is kept to the highest standard to make your game as enjoyable as possible.

We offer buggies, trolleys, clubhire and a shop with most of your golfing needs.

We also have changing facilities second to none in the Borders.

On the Estate overlooking the golf course there are six luxury self catering properties, all are 4 star rated and they are designed for comfort and luxury with en-suite facilities and some with saunas.

All the properties have beautiful views over the course and attractive private grounds.

All our guests staying on the Estate benefit from FREE golf for the duration of their stay.

A warm welcome awaits you and so please come and join us for a round.
