Chart Hills Golf Club

Biddenden, Kent
The 16th at Chart Hills.
The 16th at Chart Hills.
With outstanding facilities on all fronts, Chart Hills Golf Club is the perfect venue for all occasions. The club offers everything that guests could need including; conferencing facilities; a championship golf course and dining and wedding facilities, all of which make Chart Hills the ideal venue for your special occasion.

The spectacular Nick Faldo-designed golf course sits in the northern reaches of the Weald of Kent in more than 200 acres of historic Kent countryside, and is just 20 miles from the M25. The club guarantees guests a distraction-free environment for all occasions.

Having earned something of a reputation when it comes to hosting championship golf, the club is recognised by the professional golfing world as one of the best venues in the country. We're a European Tour qualifying school venue and have previously hosted the Ladies European tour Event, The Ladies English Open (LEO).

The LEO has grown in stature and popularity year-on-year since it was moved to the Garden of England in 2004 and where it remained for four years. Having previously attracted some of the biggest names in British ladies' golf, including England's most prolific and successful lady golfer Laura Davies, Solheim Cup stars Trish Johnson and Catriona Matthew and Major winner Karen Stupples.

Being blessed with professional, efficient, knowledgeable and courteous staff is a tremendous asset which allows the club to run smoothly giving guests the maximum comfort and discretion during their stay. Add to that the fantastic 18-hole golf course, recently recognised as one of the top courses in Europe by the prestigious Peugeot Golf Guide 2008-2009, and you have the recipe for success and a quality golfing experience on and off the course.

The course is ranked in the top 20 in Europe with a rating of 18 out of 20, the second highest in the guide, putting it on a par with other prestigious courses such as The Grove, Wentworth, Loch Lomond and St Andrews Old Course.

The challenge of the course cannot be understated with a succession of streams, copses, beautifully manicured fairways and big, undulating greens, not to mention the heavy bunkering, including the renowned 200-yard long 'Anaconda' bunker on the 5th hole.

If you are looking for conference and banqueting facilities, then Chart Hills also offers the Carnforth Suite. Suitable for up to 200 people theatre style and caters for up to 140 at lunch or dinner. For a more intimate meeting, the clubhouse boardroom accommodates up to 16 people. Both are the perfect setting for delegates, whether for a small intimate meeting or a high-level conference seminar.
Whether you visit for business of pleasure, you're guaranteed to find whatever you want at Chart Hills.
