A highlight of the professional competition period was dancing the Tango in the Semi-Final of the British Professional Championships at Blackpool.
Callis Waudby Dancing School started during October 1969.
Qualifying as teachers with the I.D.T.A during 1970.
They specialised in teaching adult and children beginners entering pupils for medal tests and eventually holding the biggest medal test in the world at that time for the I.D.T.A. with nearly 700 medal tests entered.
