Dancing Academy is a dance school based in Chippenham, Wiltshire offering classical ballet (RAD method), tap and street dance.

Dancing Academy offers classes for all ages and levels of interest and caters for both students who would like a career in dance and also those that just dance for fun.

It is important to us and part of our ethos that dance should be for everyone and not just those pursuing a career in dance.

That's why we offer a number different classes and options.

Students can opt to take examinations for more serious study, awards and presentation classes for those dancing for fun and medal tests for students who don't quite have the time to study for examinations.

For the more serious students we offer audition technique classes and workshops designed and run by professional dancers and graduates of the prestigious Royal Ballet School and other professional dance companies.

We offer classes to both children and adults and have a number of successful classes for adults such as Pilates body conditioning classes at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, adult ballet, street and tap classes.

Adults can also opt to take part in workshops, events such as summer schools and our variety of medal tests that are on offer.

Our teachers are all professionally trained and have also danced professionally which gives us an insight and understanding of the world of professional dance.

We also have a great understanding of what it is to dance for fun and the love of dance as we ourselves mostly started dancing for the fun of it before it became a passion.

For your peace of mind all dance teachers and other staff of Dancing Academy are Criminal Background Checked and cleared.

We have full public liability insurance for teaching dance and other exercise and fitness classes.

We also offer parents the opportunity to sit in and watch a class at the end of each term.

This watching class gives parents the opportunity to see our teaching skills and also see your child's progress and joy while dancing.
