Norwich Road Craft Shop was established in May 2006 and is the long awaited dream of owner, Margaret Binks. Margaret is a card maker herself and decided to open the shop to save having to travel out of town to find craft supplies. With the aid of her husband, Len, they set up this well stocked craft shop.

Inside there is a treasure trove of exciting items. Decoupage, card stock, scrapbooks, ribbons, gems, stickers, glues, Keepsake boards, tapes, scissors and craft knives, & rubber stamps to name a few. A recent addition to the range is beads and jewellery making items. This is proving very popular.

There is a good selection of storage items including carry tote bags, and many different special offers, changing regularly.

Workshops are run on many aspects of card making and scrapbooking - these are by appointment and demonstrations are held on various aspects of crafting. Workshops for children are held too, and cost only £5 per child.

A Craft Club is held on alternate Wednesday evenings and is very popular. Crafters get together and learn techniques from others and have a good time. Cost is £3 per person including a free raffle and refreshments. New from July 2009 is the Jewellery Club. This is held alternate Tuesday afternoons in a hall very near the shop at a cost of £4 per session. If you would like to try you hand at jewellery making then this is the place to come to.

Any item that is not in stock can be ordered, and Margarer & Len will endeavour to find that elusive 'must have' for you. In addition they operate a 'Wish List' to enable crafters to choose exactly what they want for a present. Again, items can be ordered for this. And if you really don't know what to buy the crafter, then you can always purchase a gift voucher - available from £1.

If you are looking for an unusal gift then have a look at the selection of wood turned items at very reasonable prices. They are all made by a local craftsman, and include small pots, plates, paper towel holders, mug trees and attractive clocks.

In addition basic stationery items are stocked along with emergency sewing items and photo frames and there is always a good selection of craft kits for children, mostly priced under £5.

Credit & debit cards are accepted, and whilst in the shop why not top up your mobile phone? The shop also offers photo copying and laminating.
