Morning walk
At Wolds Way Canine Ltd we aim to provide a stress free environment for all our boarders ensuring they have a holiday to remember.

Dogs go home happy and come back to us time and again wagging their tails anticipating lots of walks and meeting new friends.

We have only 8 kennels and are licensed for a maximum of 12 dogs so we have time to spend with our residents ensuring they get plenty of attention every day.

We have 20 years experience looking after animals.

Christine has an HNC in Canine Behaviour and Training and is currently studying for the Advanced Diploma in Canine Behaviour Management.

In addition Christine attends many varied workshops and courses throughout the year to maintain a high standard of knowledge.

Christine is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and also serves on the Committee.

Our boarders get 5-6 exercise sessions per day, made up of a variety of walks on the beautiful footpaths surrounding our property and playtime in the playbarn, yard and paddock.

Exercise sessions are tailored to suit each dog's requirements. Sociable dogs are allowed to mix with other suitable dogs, with owners permission of course and at Paul and Christine's discretion.

The playbarn has full size agility equipment and lots of toys.

Environmental enrichment is available for dogs during the time they are left in their kennel to prevent boredom and stress.

We care for the dogs ourselves, we don't have a lot of staff, so if there is a health problem or a dog is simply a little homesick we notice straight away so the dog doesn't suffer any discomfort.

The accommodation is large and airy.

All kennels have a sleeping area with ceramic tiles and underfloor heating so the dogs stay warm and the bedding is always dry.

Each kennel has its own run. Our kennels are quiet as there are not too many dogs in each building causing a stressful environment.

One unit has 4 single kennels and we have 2 units housing 2 larger kennels suitable for a family of up to 3-4 dogs.

A radio plays all day with a variety of music and talking.

Dogs with special needs are welcome.

Special diets are catered for and medication is dispensed as per instructions.

If your dog has behaviour problems we will be happy to discuss them with you and offer care suited to the dog's requirements.

Residential training is available with a minimum stay of three weeks in most cases.

Grooming is available, clipping, scissoring, hand stripping or just a bath and tidy up for all breeds.

Christine is a qualified dog groomer and we have state of the art equipment in our salon.

Delivery and collection is available at extra cost.

Testimonials

Just a quick email to say thanks for looking after Summer so well. She came back full of beans rather than a nervous wreck like before. We will definitely be back if we can get in.
Tracey Greaves.

Sorry for the delay in thanking you and your family for looking after Ellie so well. It was nice to see how comfortable she was in your presence while still welcoming us back! Look forward to seeing you after Easter for her training.
Kind regards, Georgina Wood
