Arscott Golf Club is a friendly club that opened in 1992. It's a course of 6158 yds off the white tees with every hole a memorable one. In the 19th century there were coal mines and brickworks whith pitmounds and marlpits which have created great natural hazards, the former being covered with large oak trees and the latter being filled with water.

The clubhouse and course have won may awards for building design and sensitive environmental approach. The clubhouse balcony overlooks the 18th green and fairway which incorporates pictureque pools and Pontesford Hill as a backdrop.

The clubhouse is open 7 days a week for food and drink and packages for golf societies from breakfast to three course dinner.
