The market town of Dunstable in Bedfordshire has a population of 35,000 people, and there’s been a settlement here since Roman times.
Although Dunstable was once the main market town in the area, the growth of nearby Luton in the 19th Century, and the withdrawal of the passenger railway in 1965 has limited its growth.
