Kathak can appeal to a wide variety of people for various reasons. For the people who want to keep themselves physically fit but are bored with the monotony of exercising in the gym or running, it is a fantastic way to be physically active while learning an exquisite art form.
Children and adults alike will find it both mentally and physically engaging to work with numbers and rhythm patterns that are executed with great mathematical precision through foot taps. The art and theatre practitioners will find the grace and charm inherent in the elaborate narrative aspect of the dance can be great charm. In nut shell it has something for everyone.
The Training:
The training is currently available for both children and adults in Newbury, Reading and Oxford.
The classes are aimed at giving a friendly and informal environment for participants to learn and practise.
