St Johns Pool

Alston, Cumbria
Pool Hall With Jacuzzi
Pool Hall With Jacuzzi
St Johns Pool is a family owned indoor heated 8 metre swimming pool, located in the North Pennine hills on Alston Moor. The pool is hired out for exclusive use, so you don't share your session with anyone else. This makes it ideal for families with young children learning to swim.

In addition to the main pool there is a jacuzzi, a sauna, shower, small changing room and a kitchen with tea, coffee and juice all included in the hire price.

The pool was originally built in 1991 as a private pool. The McLauchlan family took over the house and pool in 2001, then opened it to the public in 2005.

St Johns Pool is open all year round (apart from a couple of weeks in February, when it is closed for maintenance), and is very popular with local families. In the summer it is very busy with visitors to the local area, so book early!
