The course is set in the beautiful Sunderlandwick parkland estate with many native trees, ponds and a trout stream.
The natural features of the course play host to a wide variety of wildlife and the trout stream which runs through the middle is a particular feature.
The 11th hole is bounded on three sides by water hazards and is said by many visitors to be the finest hole in East Yorkshire.
The easy walking course presents an enjoyable challenge to both high and low handicap players, with tree lined fairways, streams and ponds all demanding accuracy.
There are 18 holes of 6,215 yards length with a standard scratch score of 70.
The club is a popular venue and hosts both East Riding and Yorkshire Union events.
The club has two practice areas covering all aspects of the game with the largest being over 250 metres in length.
The clubhouse has good catering, bar and practice facilities and a well stocked golf professionals shop.
