The Regency Ballroom in Sutton was used as the old Town Hall. However it is now well known throughout Ashfield as one of the best dance floors in the Midlands.

The Ballroom is currently held by the Regency Dance Centre Ltd. which is a family-run business. We offer several dance tuition classes in Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Cha-Cha-Cha, Rumba, modern and old sequence and many more! We also work with Ceroc Uk and Brunito Salsa to offer you a wider range of styles. We also run practice nights for both competitors or just for social dancing.

Fancy a night out? Our weekend events are jam-packed with dance bands, live music or just a good old-fashioned social to get out into the world.

The Ballroom was re-opened in January 2009 after a full refurbishment and every effort has been made to restore it to the prestigious and glamorous venue that it once was.

We are also able to offer corporate events such as a conferences, parties for both young and old and wedding receptions to keep with the glamour of your special day. Our fully-stocked bar, friendly staff and a choice of large or small rooms will ensure the smooth running of your day.
